One night, during the first couple of weeks of being safe at home because of COVID-19, I sat in Betsy with my blue swirled backgrounds. I had 3 of them. In the search for some of my old routine, my art buddy and I decided to meet on Zoom because we couldn't meet in person anymore. As we chatted, I just started to doodle my village of houses. Then before I knew it, I had 3 paintings filled with happy little houses all safe during a global pandemic. It's often hard to find the positive things when we feel like the world is falling apart but there is always a silver lining. ALWAYS! We just have to have our hearts open and a hopeful expectation that somewhere, in the chaos we call life, there is always a silver lining.
